But I've not been puzzling since my last post.
I did do some other stuff.
We bought a house, got married and plan to be in California between half April and half Oktober 2015.
So ... the puzzle is on hold.
The house that we bought will only be available end of Januari 2016. So we still have time for that, but in a little over a month we will be in California for 6 months. I didn't want to start the orange and than leave it for 6 months. So I didn't start.
I did do something else.
I already put all the loos pieces in bags and back in the original box for the move.
Maybe I will do the orange when we come back in Oktober 2015. But I will only start if I think I will finish it before we move. I don't want to move loose pieces. (I did that with my 12.000 piece puzzle and one pieces was lost on a driveway! Luckily the neighbour found it and brought it back!) I don't want to loose a piece. Although I can get a replacement from Ravensburger. I rather minimise the risk of loosing pieces.
BTW: This is exactly the reason I said this puzzle will take 10 years to complete. It's not that it takes so long to make, it's that there a periods that I don't touch it. Like now it will be almost a year on hold, then I MIGHT start on the second colour. It could stretch to a year and a half.
